The Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side Football league heated up in week 14, with teams from each division - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 - battling it out in a series of adrenaline-fueled matches.

In the Premier League, Substandard Liege snatched a narrow 1-0 victory against Gash Galvanisers, while Aztekkers dominated Baines On Toast with a 4-1 win. The match between Too Many Flutes FC and One Foot In The Grave ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Los Diablos overpowered Class On Grass, registering a decisive 4-1 victory, showing their class and determination.

Over in Division 1, Football Club FC and Man Cheaty 115 showed resolute defenses, with neither side able to break the deadlock resulting in a 0-0 draw. However, spectators were treated to a goal-fest in the match between Egg Fried Reus and Brentford Rejects, with the latter emerging victorious 5-3. BDO AFC and Bitcoin also shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

In the Division 2 fixtures, Ran Out of Mane routed Cherry-Poppers in a staggering 7-0 win, and Two Girls One Schlupp overpowered EY 11 with a 7-1 triumph. Guernsey Academicals earned a 2-0 win over AAFC, while Who Ate All Depays cleaned up against Purple Reign, winning 3-0.

No official top scorers were declared for the week. However, the teams that scored the highest in each division were Aztekkers in the Premier League with 4 goals, Brentford Rejects in Division 1 with 5 goals, and Ran Out Of Mane and Two Girls One Schlupp in Division 2, both scoring a whopping 7 goals each. Their exceptional performances have certainly set the tone for the rest of the season, and other teams will undoubtedly be strategizing on how to counter these high-scoring threats in the weeks to come.
