WEEKLY UPDATE FROM THE GUERNSEY LEAGUE 17TH NOVEMBER

Another excellent evening in the Guernsey Wednesday 6 aside league held at King George V as the new season kicked off in great style.

This week saw the introduction of the new rules which permit the goalkeeper to use his feet in distributing the football and he can now come out of his area. All players can now enter the area without being penalised and all free kicks are now direct. These rules have been well received and all teams enjoyed the first night of this implementation.

We did have a cancellation on the day from Yewtab but this was a one off and they have already confirmed that they will be back as normal for this coming Wednesday.

We do have one space currently available at the moment and are therefore offering FREE ENTRY to all new teams which is a saving of £25 on the usual cost.
