In the thrilling second week of the Kirby Muxloe Monday Football League, spectators were treated to a sensational display of talent and teamwork among the teams in the Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League, Hot Stepperz FC delivered a convincing 5-2 victory over Van De Beers. The Absolute Solar team, however, outshone the competition with an impressive 8-1 win against Biffa Boys, with Harry Martin bagging four goals and securing his position as the top scorer of the division. Leicester Town also turned heads with a convincing 9-1 win against We Don’t Give A Fuchs, while the match between Kirby 6s and Random VI kept everyone on the edge of their seats, ending in a narrow 4-3 victory for the Kirby 6s.
In Division 1, Pints Not Points reigned supreme with an 8-2 win over M K UNITED, with Lewis Foster proving his mettle by scoring four goals, thereby crowned as the top scorer of the division. Blazers FC emerged victorious against Leicester Town Academy with a 6-3 scoreline. Sevilla Depression took down DaZone VI with a resounding 8-2 victory, and in a closely contested match, Murder On Zidane's Floor pulled off a 5-4 win over Shaggers United.
Taking the spotlight for the week was Harry Kerrod from Murder On Zidane's Floor, who delivered an exceptional performance and was unanimously voted as the 'Most Valued Player' of the week. His dedication, skill and team spirit added spark to the matches and stood out among a field of outstanding athletes.
