In an exhilarating week 7 of the Cambridge Monday Football league, Division 1 saw plenty of thrilling moments and edge-of-seat drama. The night was rife with goals, excitement and a few surprises.

The second game of the night was a goal fest as Gimp Tuahs decimated Sharpshooters United FC with a staggering 10-2 victory. Commanding the match from the outset, Gimp Tuahs proved their dominance in a game that was theirs to win. Sharpshooters United FC, while brave in their efforts, couldn’t withstand the offensive barrage, succumbing to the relentless attacking prowess of Gimp Tuahs.

The goal-feast continued with Galactics FC meeting Balls Deep FC. With 10 goals between the two, it was Balls Deep FC who ran out comfortable winners with a thumping 8-2 victory. Their relentless attack caught Galactics FC off-guard, leaving them little time to recover.

Finally, the night concluded with a closely contested match between Chippy Chips FC and United Nations FC. In a see-saw battle, United Nations FC managed to edge out Chippy Chips FC 4-3, adding another win to their season tally.

The top scorers for Division 1 were, unsurprisingly, from the teams that dominated their respective games. Gimp Tuahs and Balls Deep FC, with their goal-laden performances, led the scoring charts for the week. Their offensive prowess has been a highlight of this season's Cambridge Monday Football league.
