MACCLESFIELD WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS 27TH MAY 2021

All the latest news for the Macclesfield Wednesday 6 a side league direct from the Macclesfield Football Club.

It was a good night of action in the league with all the teams in attendance playing some great football.

We did have a number of teams who had given notice to watch their beloved Man Utd heartbreakingly loose in the Europa League Final on penalties. The match was also shown in the new Bar 27 at the Football Club. All the teams that were not in attendance last night have all confirmed they are back next week as normal.

We had an incident in the match between Espagbol B and Sons of Pitches were a player from Espagbol B has a suspected dislocated Knee. No foul play was involved as the player slipped on the ball which caused the incident. A big thank you to the match officials who promptly called an ambulance and attended to the player. All at leisure leagues wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing back on the pitch as soon as possible.
