Before we move on to last nights action everyone at Leisure Leagues would like to wish Charlie from Jasmine Jewels a speedy recovery after last nights accident which resulted in an ambulance having to be called to the league. We would also like to thank the our staff at the league who acted efficiently and making Charlie feel comfortable.
In the Premier League division, Allmand-Smith Army made their presence felt by dominating the field against Chamakh Ma Pitch Up with a 2-0 victory. An intense match between Bantalona and Jasmine Jewels ended in a narrow 2-1 loss for Bantalona. The Silkmen Supremacy and Weaver game was a balanced display of skill ending in a 2-2 draw. Scuttle Pigs FC fought hard but succumbed to Powells U16s by a 2-1 margin. The star player for the Premier League this week was Danny from Weaver, netting a crucial goal for his side.
In the Division 1 tier, Champagne Super Rovers proved their mettle, trouncing Gamblers FC 5-1, in no small part due to the attacking prowess of Martin, the division's top scorer, who made a significant contribution to his team's win with a brace of goals. Focca Juniors outperformed MTP with a 3-1, while Purple Ake and Oi left the field with honors even in a 3-3 draw.
The Division 2 games were no less exciting, with Natsiccam overpowering Benteke Fried Chicken in a 6-1 rout, thanks to Callum, who scored a commendable four goals. The match between Paralympiacos FC and Dyslexia XI resulted in a 4-1 victory for Dyslexia XI. Lastly, Swiap triumphed over Phantom FC with a comfortable 4-1 victory.
