The sixth week of the Newark Monday 6-a-side football league saw a set of thrilling matches in both the Premier League and Division 1 last night.

In the Premier League, Rizz Kicks emerged as the victors against Nutinyamums Forest, with a commendable score of 3-1. Tom Hills of Rizz Kicks was the hero of the match as he netted two goals, earning him the title of the top scorer for the week in the Premier League. The other Premier League match witnessed The Hoop Scranners shutting out Exeter Gently in a 3-0 victory, demonstrating their defensive solidity and attacking prowess.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, there were some exciting contests. The confrontations kicked off with Clit Munchers edging past MacAwoniyi Cheese with a 2-1 win, followed by a thrilling 1-1 draw between Inter Row Z and Pinhead FC. Rio Cabs FC dominated in their match against Herons FC, walking away with a resounding 5-0 victory. Tom Lager was the standout player for Rio Cabs FC, scoring a total of three goals and thus securing the title of top goal scorer of the week in Division 1. Fisherthem also secured a close 2-1 win against Uptons in a hard-fought match.
