In the heart of Maidenhead, the third week of an exhilarating Monday night football league came to a close yesterday and it continued to live up to the hype. Teams across five divisions competed fiercely, with each game yielding its own set of thrillers.
In the Premier League division, Inter Erbum FC stole the show with an emphatic 6-2 victory over CGFC, demonstrating their attacking prowess. Leah's Six Slaves also turned heads with a convincing 3-1 victory over Monday Nights Under The Lights, while Oakley FC and Bundalengerz United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
The Division 1 matches were equally gripping. Real Berkshire eked out a narrow 3-2 win against LS Surfacing FC in what turned out to be a nail-biter. Curo Bears and Spandau Jallet were also successful, winning their respective matches against Jelly Rig FC and Holyportians.
