Thrilling Action in Week 9 of Margate Monday Football League

MARGATE - Week 9 of the Margate Monday 6-a-side Football league unfolded last night under the floodlights, and it was a spectacle to remember. With five divisions in action, the evening was packed with high-intensity games that saw some teams climb up the ladder, while others tumbled.

In Division 1, Icardi B displayed an extraordinary performance, crushing 2 Goals 1 Cup by a dominating 6-0 scoreline. The victory saw Icardi B's striker, whose performance was noted as a standout across the entire league this week, taking home the top scorer honor for Division 1.

Division 2 witnessed a nail-biting match between SLT Franklins and Evan Burgerson FC, with the former edging out a 2-1 victory. In the other match, Saville's Boys triumphed 3-1 over FURYS. The top scorer recognition for Division 2 was shared between the forwards of SLT Franklins and Saville's Boys.

The thrilling encounter between Hammer Time FC and Tango Ass Blast FC ended in a 4-4 draw. Flying Horse FC lost to Strokes Golf FC 1-0. The top scorer's title for Division 4 went to a prolific striker from Hammer Time FC.

In Division 5, Fellas FC steamrolled past Classic VI with a 4-0 victory, while James 8 Depays suffered a narrow 5-4 defeat against Shrimpos VI. The top scorer title was awarded to a forward from Fellas FC, thanks to his impressive goal tally.

The league continues to entertain fans as teams battle it out on the pitch at Margate Monday. With only a few weeks left in the season, the competition is heating up and each division's title is still up for grabs.
