Play in the Margate Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In a thrilling week of local football action, Margate Wednesday Division 1, 2, and 3 teams battled it out on the pitch, producing a number of exciting and high-scoring matches.

In Division 1, we witnessed a dominant display from The Akatsuki who put on a powerful showing against Furys, clinching a decisive 5-1 victory. This victory further solidified their position in the league and demonstrated their offensive prowess.

Moving on to Division 2, the competition was fierce and filled with action. 2 Goals 1 Cup edged out Goals Aloud FC in a tightly contested battle ending 2-1. In another high-scoring showdown, the Non Bibs made a statement with a sweeping 6-1 win over The Casuals. However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly Bumfica's resounding 12-2 victory over 6IX NETS FC, making them a team to watch in the coming weeks.

Division 3 also didn't lack in excitement. Efes FC and RayRay FC gave us a nail-biting encounter, with Efes FC eventually coming out on top with a 10-8 victory. The Broady Boys pulled off an impressive 4-2 win against Hells Angels, while Windmill FC made their mark with an 8-1 victory over PLAY DIRTY.

Top scorers for the week were undoubtedly represented in these high-scoring matches. In Division 1, the standout player from The Akatsuki took the honours. Division 2's top scorer was a striker from Bumfica, making a significant contribution to their impressive tally. In Division 3, an Efes FC player claimed top-scoring honours.
