Thrilling Action Continues in Week 5 of Margate Wednesday Football League

Spectators were treated to exhilarating football action in the 5th week of the Margate Wednesday Football League. Teams from Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 showcased their skills and determination as they battled it out on the pitch.

In the Division 1 league game, TWS, a formidable team, outdid The Akatsuki with a score of 6-3 in an intense match. The Akatsuki displayed a valiant effort but failed to bridge the gap in the face of TWS's relentless offense. The top scorer for Division 1 was TWS's striker, who bagged a spectacular hat-trick.

The Division 2 games, unfortunately, were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, but are set to resume next week with teams eager to improve their standings.

In Division 3, there was a deluge of goals as Saville's Boys trounced Goal Diggers FC with a staggering 16-3 victory, making it the highest scoring game of the night. The Boys' striker outshone his peers, scoring an impressive five goals. Elsewhere, Efes FC secured a 4-2 victory over 6IX NETS FC, and Pepe Pigs Utd defeated Scads FC 4-2. The top scorer accolade in Division 3 went to the prolific striker from Saville's Boys.

The Margate Wednesday Football League has thus far showcased an exceptional level of football.
