Play in the Margate Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Week 8 of the Margate Wednesday 6-A-Side Football League was a thrilling spectacle filled with skill, determination, and pure footballing magic from the teams in Division 1 and Division 2.

In Division 1, some dramatic games unfolded. 2 Goals 1 Cup put up a brave fight but were ultimately overcome by a strong TWS side that ramped up their performance to secure a 4-2 victory. Can Wu Score brought their scoring boots, notching seven goals in a commanding 7-3 win over The Akatsuki. Glass Ankles FC were in unstoppable form, hammering Dana 10-1 in a show of sheer dominance. The final match of the night saw Kroos Control unable to slow down the offensive juggernaut of Play Dirty, who put nine goals past them for a 9-3 win.

Moving on to Division 2, 2 Girls 1 Schlupp fell to an impressive Scads FC, who turned on the style to win 6-3. A La Turka struggled to keep pace with Windmill FC, losing 6-2. Northdown FC clinched a 3-0 victory against Baba Colts, while Graces Tribe demonstrated their scoring prowess with a 10-2 trouncing of Move Man FC.

A special mention goes to the top scorers of each division, whose impressive performances lit up the pitch. In Division 1, the standout was Glass Ankles FC, whose ruthless display saw them net 10 goals. Division 2 saw Graces Tribe top the scoring charts, also with an impressive 10-goal haul.

As we look ahead to week 9, the teams in both divisions will no doubt be keen to keep the momentum going, while those less fortunate will be looking to bounce back. With the league as competitive as ever, it promises to be another exciting week of 6-A-Side football.
