In the Premier League division, the evening was dominated by a high-stakes duel between Lord Of The Ings and Le Saux Solid Crew. Despite a valiant performance from Lord Of The Ings, and an impressive two goals from top scorer Theo, Le Saux Solid Crew managed to edge them out with a narrow 3-2 frosty victory. Meanwhile, Gadders FC proved their mettle with a firm 3-1 win over Fake Madrid, bolstering their standing in the league tables.

Over in Division 1, Midlife Mavericks put up a stellar performance against Coping Stones FC, cruising to a comfortable 7-2 victory and making life needlessly difficult in the first half. Midlife Mavericks' Matthew Cooper stole the show with a hat-trick, securing his place as the top scorer in the division.  No need to mention a great through ball and a dinky chip by, ahem, Blacky over a rushing James B. In a nail-biting match, Gopping Lizards just managed to clinch a 4-3 victory against Blazing Squad - Lewis proving his worth as a £4million last season signing coming to full fitness.

We need to talk about Expected Toulouse and their self sabotage!  Title hopes were potentially shattered by a 3-3 draw where a last minute own goal literally threw the title away for Expected.  The frostiest night of the year matches their mood this morning when they read this fictitious report.  How did Will get on the scoresheet ...... twice????    

As the current season approaches its thrilling finale, teams are reminded to secure their places for the next season.
