Weekly News from Monday 2nd October

Overall we had a great night of football on Monday, although there were a couple of disappointing incidents to report. 

After receiving reports that Tottenham Hotspern verbally abused the referee throughout the game, and also threatened him after the match, the team have been removed from the league with immediate effect.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.

We were also disappointed that no one from All Stars contacted Head Office to inform us they were unable to attend their game. We will be in contact with the team captain to confirm they will be back as normal next week.
