The Mildenhall Wednesday Football League delivered yet another thrilling week of six-a-side football this Wednesday. Now in its third week of the season, the league saw some high-intensity matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League, the Bhora Football Club clashed with Ipswich in a tightly contested match-up. The final whistle blew with Bhora FC pulling ahead with a 3-2 victory. In the other game of the division, Delph and Safety V2 showcased their attacking prowess by beating The Mighty Half Dozen 4-1. The top scorer of the division was the in-form Jordan Window from Delph and Safety V2, who managed to net twice in the game, taking his team to victory.
Division 1
Players witnessed an exciting bout between Cummings Cider FC and Back To The FUTURE. The latter emerged victorious, recording a 4-2 win, thanks in part to Alfie Durrant, who scored two crucial goals. The match between Jerk Mates and Planes N Babes resulted in a clear 5-2 win for Planes N Babes. Meanwhile, Boys From BSE and Queens Park Strangers ended with a stalemate at 2-2.
The standout player of the week across both divisions was Alfie Parrish from Back To The FUTURE. Despite facing stiff competition, his exceptional performance on the pitch earned him the title of 'Most Valued Player' of the week.
