Football fever heightened in Mildenhall Wednesday as week 4 of the much-anticipated 6 a side Football league unfurled, delivering riveting action and enthralling performances.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the competition was fierce. Casuals faced off against Ipswich in a nail-biting encounter, with Ipswich seizing the day with a 3-1 victory. Six Offenders and Mirror Signal Malouda battled it out on the pitch, with Malouda emerging triumphant in a 4-2 win. Papacitos FC and Murder On Zidanes Floor staged a goal fest that had us on the edge of our seats, the latter securing a 7-5 win.
The star of this week's Premier League division was Juan Orrego of Papacitos FC, who shot into the spotlight after scoring an impressive five goals. His performance demonstrated a superior level of skill and football prowess, placing him as the top scorer of the division this week.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the action was no less intense, with 2 Star Ballerz claiming a decisive 10-4 victory against Athletico Pathetico. Labas FC gave a masterclass in attacking football, shutting out The Misfits 9-0, while The Mighty Half Dozen showcased their dominance with a 5-1 win over Studdown Studs.
Jacob Gould of 2 Star Ballerz emerged as the top scorer of Division 1, netting an impressive three goals. His stellar performance and contribution to his team's victory highlighted his football acumen and goal-scoring ability.
However, the highlight of week 4 was the outstanding performance by Ipswich's Sam Bacon, who was named the most valued player of the week. Sam's exceptional skills, relentless energy, and strategic play have undoubtedly contributed to Ipswich's success and have set a high standard for the rest of the season.
