New Mildenhall Wednesday 6 a side season kicks off!
Mildenhall Wednesday, a momentous 6-a-side football league, kicked off its latest season with a flurry of goals and enthralling matches last night. The teams in the divisions Premier League and Division 1 showcased their skills, making it a memorable night for football enthusiasts.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Murder On Zidanes Floor showed their dominance with an impressive win over Ipswich with a scoreline of 8 - 5. Not to be overshadowed, Queens Park Strangers also notched a victory against reigning champions Casuals, with a solid 3-1 score. The player who stole the limelight in the Premier League was Harvey Lott, from Murder On Zidanes Floor. Lott scored a commendable total of 2 goals, earning him the title of top scorer in the division.
DIVISION ONE
Division 1 also didn't fail to deliver a spectacle, with Fake Madrid leading the charge with a 4-1 triumph over Athletico Pathetico. In another match, Mirror Signal Malouda secured a resounding 7-1 victory against Wednesday Down The Hub. Joseph Bidwell, representing Fake Madrid, emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, netting 2 goals.
Harvey Lott from Murder On Zidanes Floor stood out from the crowd, being recognised as the most valued player of the week. It's indeed a fantastic start to the season for Lott and a promising sign of the thrilling season to come.
The opening week in the Mildenhall Wednesday league has set high standards for the season ahead. Based on the performance of the players so far, we can look forward to an exciting season packed with goal fests and nerve-wracking matches. The players will undoubtedly be aiming to bring their A-game to every match, making this season one for the books.
