In the exciting world of local football, the Lincoln Monday 6-a-side league kicked off its brand-new season last night with some exhilarating matches.

Starting with Division 1, Only Put Matip In took an impressive victory against the Black Carrot United, scoring 4-2 in a fiercely competitive match.  However, the highlight of the night was undoubtedly the offensive masterclass displayed by Ctrl Alt De Ligt, who outscored Earth Wind And Maguire 14-2, setting the tone for the season ahead.

Over in Division 2, the crowd witnessed a high-scoring draw between Tottenham Hotspoon and Brake Yashins, with both teams locked at a thrilling 5-5 at the final whistle. Hungry Jippos made their presence felt with a solid 4-1 win against Puyol Pants Down, showcasing their attacking prowess. The day rounded off with Odem Chicken Wingies securing a close win over Scratterz N Mash with a 3-2 scoreline.
