In last night's thrilling opening week of the Lincoln Thursday 6-a-side Football League, the teams in Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 battled it out on the pitch, as the season took off in spectacular style.

In Division 1, Thunder Buddies and Pique Blinders kicked off the season with an evenly matched game ending in a 3-3 draw. Meanwhile, Fenebackache managed to edge past Rheady's Rovers with a single goal, securing a 1-0 victory to start their campaign on a winning note. The most electrifying game of the division, however, was between Stepping Stone FC and Pathetic Athletic, with the latter team emerging victorious in a 3-2 thriller.

Moving on to Division 2, the star performers were undoubtedly Darwizzy Crisps, who put on an offensive masterclass to outscore Maddie Milan 7-3. In the other match, Pukki Wookie defeated Inter Yanan 4-2, indicating an intriguing season ahead for the division.

Lastly, in Division 3, Is Your Motherwell and Harbys Hoes couldn't be separated, ending in a 2-2 draw. Romasexuals were narrowly defeated by CF RWR in a 3-2 showdown. However, the standout performance came from Wildboyz 2 FC who showcased their dominance with a resounding 5-0 victory over Broken Busquets.

As the season has just started, it's too early to predict the top contenders in each division. However, the top scorers for the opening week in each division were Darwizzy Crisps in Division 2, Wildboyz 2 FC in Division 3, and Pathetic Athletic in Division 1. These teams have set the bar high as we eagerly anticipate the next round of matches.
