Serious injury in the Thursday league

 It was an unfortunate night at the Thursday Leisure Leagues, with a Unathletico Madrid player suffering a severe kneecap injury. We wish the player a speedy recovery. 

In the interests of health and safety we were unable to move this player from the pitch until the ambulance arrived, meaning the game between Unathletico Madrid and A Team Has No Name, was cancelled, as well as the next fixture on, Wanyamas In Pyjamas vs Boom Shaka Lacca. These matches will get replayed later in the season. 

Apart from this very unfortunate and unusual circumstance it was a fantastic night at the Thursday league with all teams in attendance as expected. 

We look forward to seeing all teams again as normal next week!
