Weekly News from Sunday 14th May

A magnificent night of football on Sunday saw all teams in attendance for their games, with some brilliant matches played. The Trotters were at their rampant best to move top of the Premier Division, while Take A Joke FC and FC West Street both won to maintain their promotion hopes.

However we were disappointed to hear of an incident in the game involving FC West Street. Uzair Khalid was shown a yellow card for pushing an opponent, and has received a £10 fine.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
