Weekly News from Sunday 19th March

Overall, we had a fantastic evening of football on Sunday, as all teams were in attendance. This included three new sides, with Kaboul Sack, Chamakh My Pitch Up and Young And Hung all in action and giving great accounts of themselves.

However we were extremely disappointed to hear of two disciplinary issues on the night. Max Prasher from Young And Hung got a red card for using foul and abusive language towards the referee, and has now been issued with a £20 fine and two week ban.

Meanwhile Jack Salisbury from Chamakh My Pitch Up has received a £10 fine and one week ban after receiving a yellow card for verbal abuse directed at the referee.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour directed at referees or players at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
