Weekly News from Sunday 2nd April

A great night of football saw all teams in attendance as expected, with the only exception being The Chaps. We were grateful the team contacted Head Office to let us know they were unable to attend their game, and we look forward to welcoming them back as normal next week.

We were however disappointed to hear of an incident in the game involving Tekkerslovakia. Jamie Williams received a red card for verbally abusing the referee, and has consequently got a two week ban and £20 fine.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
