Monday 14th October - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some excellent matches played across both divisions.

In the Premier League, the Mass Debaters dominated the pitch with an impressive 5-0 scoreline against Inter Ya Nan, establishing their prowess early in the season. Neville Wears Prada and Haven’t Got A Kalou battled it out to a hard-fought 1-1 draw, while Ball Of Duty managed to squeeze past Newdigate United, winning 2-1. The Manor FC also put on an imposing display of football, triumphing over Muffin Munchers 4-1.

Over in Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Dad Bod Athletic and Shaktar Senseless ended with a 2-2 draw in a game that was a true testament to the competitiveness of the division. Big Licks FC made their mark by trouncing Gangsters Allardyce 4-0 while Expected Toulouse and Saviles Super Stars locked horns in a thrilling 3-3 draw. The night ended with Fill Me Wycombe going down 0-4 against the formidable Wootton Street Wanderers.
