Monday 15th July - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

Overall it was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week.  We did however have Badboy FC unable to attend their game, but they return as normal on Monday 22nd July.  MenBehavingChadli have now been removed, as despite confirming they wished to continue, not showing for the second week running.

We welcome new teams Freshcakes and Fill Her Wycombe to the league from next week.  They replace the outgoing Chadli, and Pochinellos.

In the Premier League, Neville Wears Prada and The Manor FC fought it out in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, Mass Debaters edged out Haven’t Got A Kalou with a thrilling 4-3 victory. The match was a display of tactical mastery and exceptional skill, with the top scorer for the Premier League hailing from Mass Debaters. The team's outstanding striker netted two goals, contributing significantly to their narrow victory.

Down in Division 1, Inter Ya Nan secured a well-fought 4-2 win over Ball Of Duty. INNAGE PARK FC, meanwhile, showed their dominance against Pochinellos FC with a clean 4-0 victory. Dad Bod Athletic also secured a 4-2 win against Saviles Super Stars. The match between CARAVAN BASHERS and Big Licks FC ended in a 2-2 draw, capping off an evening of intense football.
