Monday 15th November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all 12 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled, and some fantastic football played throughout the night.

Warriors were pegged back for only the second time this season, as they could not find a way to beat mid-table FC Benidorm, with the match ending 1-1, there is no danger of them relinquishing the title with four to play but well done to Benidorm on this result.

Elkin's Boys remain in second place and came out on top in an 8 goal thriller in which they beat James Ate All Depays by a 5-3 scoreline, whilst Bog Standard and Mass Debaters also collected wins this week to remain a point off second place each. 

TTT remain in mid-table as they edged past Dad Bod Athletic this week, running out eventual 1-0 winners in a tightly contested game.

Cat and Genny were in unforgiving form as they thrashed new boys Crouch Potato by a 17-0 scoreline, starting the day with a -14 goal difference and ending on +3!
