Monday 22nd April - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a late cancellation from Marston Lane FC who we look forward to seeing back in attendance on Monday 29th April.

In the Premier League division, Badboy FC dominated The Manor FC with a 4-1 victory, solidifying their strong position in the league. The Manor FC, despite their best efforts, fell short. Meanwhile, Wootton Street Wanderers demonstrated their prowess with an impressive 4-0 win over Big Licks FC. Haven’t Got A Kalou also netted four goals against Newdigate United, leaving them scoreless in a 4-0 whitewash.

Over in Division 1, some fierce battles were fought with remarkable performances. Shaktar Senseless outclassed ClassOnGrass with a commendable 6-1 win, seizing the spotlight for the night. Ball Of Duty triumphed over StickAChickenInA in a 6-2 victory, showcasing their offensive might. MenBehavingChadli overcame Dad Bod Athletic 4-1, highlighting their league potential. The match between Saviles Super Stars and INNAGE PARK FC ended in a tense 1-1 draw with neither team able to grab the winner.
