Monday 24th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night including two new teams who made their debuts, leaving only ONE REMAINING VACANCY in the league!

In the Premier League division, Ball of Duty claimed a tight victory, edging out Wootton Street Wanderers with a scoreline of 2-1. The match was closely contested, showcasing the agility and skill of the players. Ruud Man Merky also carved out a narrow win against The Manor FC with a 1-0 score, keeping their title hopes alive.

Meanwhile, Mandy Men and Tooze Nil Up settled for a 2-2 draw in an adrenaline-pumping match. The highlight of the Premier League division, however, was arguably the closely contested game between Conkers FC and Mass Debaters, where the latter clinched a thrilling victory, winning the match 2-1.

In Division 1, Backstreet Moyes reigned supreme over WSW with a clean 2-0 win. Dad Bod Athletic displayed a commendable performance, thrashing Squid Game 6-1. Fill Me Wycombe and Shaktar Senseless battled it out to a 1-1 draw in an evenly contested match.

Gangsters Allardyce suffered a heavy defeat against Dont Look Back in Elanga, who emerged victorious with a score of 6-2. On the other hand, Inter Ya Nan fell short against La Radnor FC, who secured a 3-1 win.
