Monday 29th July - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played.  The only exception to this was the absence of Caravan Bashers, but they have confirmed their return on Monday 5th August.

In the Premier League division, Neville Wears Prada dominated the field with an impressive 4-0 victory over Fancy Ballers. The Prada's striking prowess was on full display, leaving their opponents scoreless and claiming the top spot in the division.

In a high-scoring showdown, Newdigate United outperformed FreshCakesMk2 with a 7-2 triumph. The offensive strength of Newdigate United proved too robust for FreshCakesMk2 to handle.

The match between Mass Debaters and The Manor FC ended in a 1-1 draw, both teams demonstrating dogged determination and solid defensive strategies. The last game of the Premier League division saw Haven’t Got A Kalou and Wootton Street Wanderers locking horns in a goalless draw, a testament to their robust defence and high-level goalkeeping.

In Division 1, INNAGE PARK FC faced a narrow defeat against Ball Of Duty with a score of 1-2. Despite their best efforts, INNAGE couldn't match the tactical prowess of the Duty.

Inter Ya Nan pulled off a 2-0 victory over Dad Bod Athletic, exhibiting their mastery over ball control and their strategic gameplay. In an edge-of-the-seat match, Saviles Super Stars defeated Big Licks FC 4-3, both teams demonstrating remarkable offensive play, with Saviles Super Stars emerging as the winner in a back-and-forth battle.

Good luck to all our teams going into the next round of fixtures with Nuneaton's premier providers of small sided football!
