Monday 6th January - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was an excellent return to action for 2025 in the Nuneaton Academy Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions for the penultimate round of fixtures of the campaign.

In the Premier League division, in an intense contest, Newdigate United emerged victorious over The Manor FC with a 2-1 scoreline. The captivating match saw the league's top scorers rise to the occasion, bolstering their teams with decisive goals. Ball Of Duty triumphed over Neville Wears Prada with a 3-1 victory, while Haven’t Got A Kalou displayed an incredible performance, defeating Inter Ya Nan with a resounding 4-1. The final match of the night saw Mass Debaters overpower Trent in a 5-1 victory that had the spectators on their feet.

The equally compelling Division 1 matches kicked off with a strong performance by Backstreet Moyes, who triumphed over Fill Me Wycombe, 4-1. Gangsters Allardyce showcased their dominance with a 2-0 victory against Saviles Super Stars. The highlight of the evening was the high-scoring match between Dad Bod Athletic and Big Licks FC. The former emerged victorious with a 5-3 scoreline. The night concluded with a goalless draw between Shaktar Senseless and Wootton Street Wanderers.
