Monday 7th October - Nuneaton Round-Up
It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played across both divisions.
In the Premier League, Neville Wears Prada clinched a narrow 2-1 victory over Mass Debaters, in a match that kept spectators on tenterhooks until the final whistle. The Manor FC edged Ball of Duty 3-2 in a game that saw the lead change hands multiple times. However, the highlight of the night was Inter Ya Nan's resounding 5-0 victory over Muffin Munchers - a game that saw them take an early lead and never look back. Newdigate United rounded off the Premier League fixtures with a 2-1 win over Haven’t Got A Kalou.
Heading over to Division 1, Fill Me Wycombe delivered a power-packed performance, sweeping past Saviles Super Stars with a whopping 7-0 victory. Shaktar Senseless took home a comfortable 13-1 victory against Gangsters Allardyce, the highest scoreline of the night. Wootton Street Wanderers secured a 4-2 victory over Dad Bod Athletic. Meanwhile, in a tightly contested fixture, Big Licks FC marginally beat Expected Toulouse 1-0.
