The Nuneaton Monday 6-a-side Football league heated up last night, in the fifth week of the season. The intensity of the competition was palpable, with players leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of victory.

In the Premier League division, the most dramatic match was arguably between Newdigate United and Muffin Munchers, where the Muffin Munchers managed to edge out their rivals with a narrow 1-0 victory. Meanwhile, Neville Wears Prada showed their footballing prowess with a resounding 6-0 victory over The Manor FC. This win solidifies their position at the top of the league, making them the team to beat. Mass Debaters also had something to celebrate, securing a 2-1 win over Haven’t Got A Kalou. Inter Ya Nan unfortunately came up short, losing 2-0 to Ball Of Duty.

Switching over to the Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Shaktar Senseless and Big Licks FC faced off in a nail-biting encounter that ended 3-2 in favour of Big Licks FC. Gangsters Allardyce put up a valiant effort but couldn't withstand the offensive onslaught of Fill Me Wycombe, succumbing 6-2. Dad Bod Athletic rounded off the night with a comfortable 3-0 triumph over Saviles Super Stars, their first win of the season.

The top scorers in the Premier League division were Neville Wears Prada, securing six goals in their match. As for Division 1, the top scorers were Fill Me Wycombe, who managed to put an impressive six goals past their opponents.
