Sports fans were treated to another action-packed week in the Nuneaton Sunday 6-a-side Football league, with teams across five divisions battling it out in Week 7.
In the Premier League, Norfolk N Chance scored an impressive 4-0 victory over Birdies Boys, while Murder On Zidanes Floor outperformed Pain In Dias with a 4-1 win. The competition was equally fierce in the lower divisions. Division 1 saw a standout performance from Gylfis Young Boys, who thrashed Britannia Draculas FC 9-0, while Kevos Kids bested AFC Windmilldons 4-2.
In Division 2, Expected Toulouse and Pukka Chronics fought to a 2-2 draw, while Kingsmill 50-50 narrowly edged out Extra Special Ones 2-1. Division 3 was not without its drama either, with Blue Crown FC bagging a 5-2 win over Kroos Control FC and Rubbergently drawing 3-3 with Hardly Athletic.
Meanwhile, in Division 4, EEFC squeezed out a narrow 3-2 win over Real Sosobad, and Eric Bantona triumphed 2-0 over Tuffnells FC. On the other hand, Rainbow Sparkles managed to sparkle their way to a 2-1 victory against Ricky Spanish FC.
However, the most celebrated player of the week was Matthew Asson from Kevos Kids, who showed exceptional skill and talent on the field. His performance was instrumental in securing their team's win, and his contribution did not go unnoticed.
Unfortunately, the top scorers for each division were not disclosed in this week's update. However, given the high-scoring games, it's clear that there's an abundance of talent across all divisions. The coming weeks promise to deliver more thrilling matches as the teams continue their quest for glory in the Nuneaton Sunday 6-a-side Football league.
