Overall it was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams barring three in attendance, as we welcome back Beduff Rangers, Rubbergently and Real Sosobad back to action on Sunday 1st September.
On a positive note, we welcomed two new teams to the action this week just gone, The Mushy Boys and Salah-vation Army played their first games with us. We also welcome another new team I Boomed Yamom into the league on Sunday 1st September, this leaves us with JUST ONE REMAINING VACANCY as the spaces are filling quickly, so we advise anyone interested to join ASAP!
In the Premier League division, two encounters ended in stalemates. Birdies Boys and Borussia Teeth couldn't find the back of the net, leaving the scores at 0-0. THE ALLIES FC and Murder On Zidanes Floor locked horns in a riveting match, culminating in a 1-1 draw. Norfolk N Chance emerged victorious over Pain In Dias, scoring 3 goals and delivering a clean sheet.
Misfits secured a narrow victory over Gylfis Young Boys in Division 1, with the match concluding at 3-2. The intense faceoff between Britannia Draculas FC and Salah-vation Army ended in a 0-0 draw.
Division 2 saw Expected Toulouse triumph over Extra Special Ones, scoring 4 goals to 2. Kingsmill 50-50 couldn't clinch a win against NetSixAndChill, losing 2-1. Pukka Chronics also celebrated a victory over The Mushy Boys, scoring 2 goals.
In Division 3, Hardly Athletic defeated Blue Crown FC with a scoreline of 2-0.
Finally, in Division 4, Tuffnells FC and Rainbow Sparkles ended in a 2-2 draw, showcasing an exciting display of football.
