Sunday 10th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the exception of a handful of absentees, mainly owing to Mothers Day, but we look forward to getting the league back on track this week, and welcoming back FC Positivity, Norfolk N Chance, Beduff Rangers and The Griddlers to the action.

The Premier League saw an energetic face-off between Jack's Army and Wanyamas In Pyjamas, with the latter claiming victory with a score of 4-2. The Misfits struggled to keep up with THE ALLIES FC, resulting in a defeat of 4-1.

In Division 1, Dixy Pigeons showed their prowess by beating Extra Special Ones with a remarkable score of 4-1. The match between Scholes Galore and Rooney Tunes ended in a 2-2 draw, keeping the competition fierce in the division.

Eric Bantona and Ricky Spanish FC clashed in Division 2, with Ricky Spanish FC emerging victorious with a scoreline of 4-1. Pain In Dias left a significant impression, defeating Kevos Kids 7-1.

The matches in Division 3 were no less exciting. AFC Windmilldons edged out Birdies Boys with a score of 4-3. NetSixAndChill managed to outclass Kroos Control FC, scoring a whopping 6-1 victory.

In Division 4, Blue Crown FC triumphed over Zulu Warriors with a score of 5-3. Rainbow Sparkles proved their mettle with a decisive 3-0 win against Tuffnells FC. The match between Real Sosobad and Set 8 was highly competitive, with Real Sosobad narrowly winning by 2-1.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures on Sunday 17th March, which are the final games of the campaign, ahead of the new season which will kick off immediately on Sunday 24th March!
