Sunday 11th November - Nuneaton Academy Weekly Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening of 6 a side football at Nuneaton Academy on Sunday saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception to this being 'Tekkers FC' who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return to the league on Sunday 18th November.

Deportivo LF's unbeaten run extended to 10 games in the Premier Division as they edge ever closer to the title, this week they battled to a 2-1 win over a stubborn Inter YN.  Second placed Exeter Gently dropped a point against seventh placed Extra Special Ones in what some would view as a surprise result, 2-2 the final score.  Cheeky Milando's will be looking to steal in to second place after that result and are now just 2 points behind their rivals as the two go head to head on Sunday 18th November!

In Division One, Misfits remain top of the pile after they overcame Unreal Madrid 2-1, they remain two points clear of second placed Sky Blues 87 who beat third placed Dark Fruit FC 1-0.  This result strengthens Misfit's promotion hopes as they are now 5 points clear of third place.  In other action, Substandard Liege ran out 4-2 winners in an entertaining encounter.
