Sunday 12th January - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all four divisions and some well competed matches on display.

In the Premier League, Gylfis Young Boys edged past Lads On Toure with a 3-2 victory in a heated battle. Murder On Zidanes Floor and THE ALLIES FC ended on an even keel, sharing honours with 2-2, while NetSixAndChill and Norfolk N Chance also split points in their 1-1 draw.

Division 1 saw a thrilling encounter between Conkers FC and Borussia Teeth, with both teams scoring 4 goals. EEFC and Pain In Dias were locked in a goalless stalemate, while Hardly Athletic secured a narrow win over Misfits with a 2-1 scoreline.

Over in Division 2, Expected Toulouse triumphed over Blue Crown FC with a 2-1 victory. Extra Special Ones squeezed a 1-0 win over Tuffnells FC, while Hinckley Athletic FC emerged victorious over Ricky Spanish FC with a 3-2 score.

In Division 3, Eric Bantona fell to Ligmatip with a 1-4 scoreline, while Kroos Control suffered a 2-3 loss to Salah-vation Army. Rainbow Sparkles and Rubbergently delivered an exciting match, with Rubbergently clinching the win with a 3-2 score.
