Sunday 13th February - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

3 Lions made it 3 wins in a row to start the season this week as they were 2-0 victors against Up The Tics, who had previously won their opening two matches, they drop to third.  Borussia Teeth got their second win in a row, another 4-0 win as they dispatched of Hardly Athletic routinely.  Yerrr were 2-1 winners over Cheeky Milandos as they also got their second win in three, whilst Exeter Gently got their season up and running with a 1-0 win against Jacks Army.

No Cup FC's emphatic start to the Division One season continued into a third week, and with their biggest one yet, as they thrashed Misfits 16-2, having now scored 34 goals in just three games!  The Purples are also plodding along nicely following a 2-0 win against Egg Fried Reus, leaving them on maximum points after the opening three.  Extra Special Ones moved up to third place with their second win in three, as they ran out 3-0 victors over Slide Into Your EDM's.  Rainbow Sparkles also won by a 2-0 score line against Dixy Pigeons to get their first points of the campaign.  

We are pleased to see the league running as well as it is at present, and thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability to ensure the league runs smoothly weekly.
