Sunday 13th March - Nuneaton Academy League Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance barring Rainbow Sparkles and Extra Special Ones who both cancelled, both return as normal on Sunday 20th March!

3 Lions look to be running away with it at the top of the Premier Division, their seventh straight win came in the form of a 5-0 thrashing of Hardly Athletic who slip to the bottom of the table.  Exeter Gently recorded their fifth win on the spin as they were 5-1 winners against Yerrr whilst the other two games ended 1-1 between Borussia Teeth v Jacks Army and Cheeky Milandos v  Up The Tics.

It looks to be a straight shootout between The Purples FC and No Cup FC, with Purples leading the way with their 100% record so far, they were 2-1 winners against Dixy Pigeons, whilst second placed No Cup have dropped only one point this campaign, they thrashed Egg Fried Reus 7-1 this week.  The top two have yet to meet but do so on 3rd April, and the last game of the season!  Misfits sit third and are the best of the rest so far as they romped to a 9-1 win against EDMS.
