Sunday 17th September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring two.  We've removed KBTS from the league as this was their second consecutive failure to arrive.  We look forward to seeing Borussia Teeth and Pathetico Madrid return as normal this weekend.

In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC outperformed Boca Seniors in a thrilling 4-2 victory. Lad On Toure had a commanding 3-0 win against Misfits, while Jack's Army demonstrated their might once again with a 4-1 defeat of Dixy Pigeons.

Division 1 saw intense matches with Whatever Bro seizing a 4-1 win over The BackStreet Moyes and Unipart United dominating Kroos Control FC in a decisive 6-1 victory. Equally matched, FC POSITIVITY and Gylfis Young Boys ended in a 1-1 draw. 

In Division 2, Tekkerslovakia secured a 2-0 win against Globo Gym Purple Cobras, Sky Blue Army triumphed over Beduff Rangers with a 3-1 score, and Rainbow Sparkles outshone Hardly Athletic in a 3-0 victory. Tuffnells FC clinched a 2-0 win against Kevos Kids. 

Finally, in Division 3, Bank Fc and The Griddlers achieved 2-0 and 3-0 victories against Set 8 and Schindlers Assist respectively. Do-little Fc and Ricky Spanish FC concluded in a tense 2-2 draw.

As we brace for the next round of matches, the Nuneaton Sunday League continues to captivate with its display of talent and sportsmanship.
