It was a good evening of 6 a side football in Nuneaton on Sunday which saw all teams in attendance at The Academy, the only exception unfortunately being a cancellation from new team 'Egg Fried Reus' who will be spoken to accordingly.
There was a shock in the Premier Division as top of the table Deportivo LF were beaten 5-3 at the hands of second from bottom Extra Special Ones, although it looks unlikely they will relinquish top spot at this stage of the season as they're 4 points clear with just 3 to play after Exeter Gently missed the chance to reduce the points gap to 2 when they were beaten 2-1 by Cheeky Milandos who are now joint second.
Division One is wide open after a huge shock in which second placed Misfits who are usually so solid in defence were hammered 12-0 by Dark Fruit FC. Sky Blues 87 took full advantage of this and are now top of the table after a 1-0 win over Unathletico Madrid. The top two should however have enough points on the board to gain promotion with only 3 games remaining.
Good luck to all teams going into next weeks fixtures with Nuneaton's premier provider of small sided football.
