It was a good evening's football overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night barring Wanyamas In Pyjamas who cancelled, but return on Sunday 26th May.
In the Premier League Division, Norfolk N Chance and THE ALLIES FC battled to a 3 -3 draw in an evenly contested match that showcased both teams' resilience. The result leaves fans anticipating the final two matches of the season, with all to play for in securing their position in the league.
Moving on to Division 1, Expected Toulouse fell to Borussia Teeth in a tight 1-0 match, while Pain In Dias outplayed Extra Special Ones in a 4-2 victory. Gylfis Young Boys edged past Misfits with a 1-0 win, highlighting the stiff competition in this division.
In Division 2, Birdies Boys and Kevos Kids marked essential victories over AFC Windmilldons and Imatch FC, respectively. Pukka Chronics and Rubbergently battled to a 1-1 draw, leaving the division wide open for the final few weeks.
Division 3 witnessed a high-scoring match with Ricky Spanish FC falling to Hardly Athletic in a 7-1 defeat. Set 8 also claimed a significant victory over Remdog United, winning the clash 5-1.
Meanwhile, in Division 4, Blue Crown FC showed dominance over EEFC with a 5-1 victory, and Kroos Control FC outplayed Tuffnells FC winning 6-1. Rainbow Sparkles were the standout performer this week, demolishing Real Sosobad with a 9-1 victory.
