Sunday 1st September - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good end to the season overall in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring two.  Kingsmill 50-50 will be spoken to and confirmed to return, and Real Sosobad have been removed from the league following their second non-attendance on the spin.

In the Premier League, THE ALLIES FC dominated Birdies Boys with a massive 9-0 victory, clinching the top spot with a total of 16 points and 6 wins to their name. Their offensive prowess has been a sight to behold throughout the season, and they lifted the trophy with a well-deserved sense of accomplishment.


Over in Division 1, Misfits narrowly edged out AFC Windmilldons in a gripping 3-2 encounter. They ended the season as champions, accumulating 17 points and 8 wins. Their grit and determination have been the driving force behind their impressive run, and they certainly demonstrated why they are the best in their division.


In Division 2, NetSixAndChill recorded a 1-0 victory against Pukka Chronics, securing their division title with 15 points and 7 wins. Their defensive solidity and opportunistic scoring made them a daunting opponent throughout the season.


Division 3 saw Imatch Fc triumph over I Boomed Yamom In The Ash Fc in a closely contested 1-0 match. With 17 points and 8 wins, they cemented their status as the standout team in the division.


In Division 4, EEFC emerged victorious with a 1-0 win against Tuffnells FC, earning them the division title with a total of 15 points and 7 wins. Their disciplined displays have been a testament to their success, marking them as the team to beat in their division.
