Sunday 20th March - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, with the only disappointment being a surprising non-attendance from 3 Lions who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return on Sunday 27th March.  We also had a cancellation on the day from Yerrr who we thank for calling us and informing they could not make it.

Borussia Teeth were the big winners of the week in the Premier Division as they thrashed Cheeky Milandos by a 7-1 score line, whilst it was honours even between Jack's Army and Hardly Athletic who shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

The Purples and No Cup's dominance continues in Division One, Purples remain a point clear at the top after they were 1-0 winners over Rainbow Sparkles, whilst No Cup FC continue to score goals galore, they were 9-0 winners against Slide Into Your EDM's, as they average over 8 goals a game so far!  Dixy Pigeons move into third place as the rest of the division is closely competed, they leapfrogged Misfits who they beat 2-1, whilst Egg Fried Reus sit halfway in the table after winning an entertaining game against Extra Special Ones by a 3-2 scoreline.
