Sunday 21st November - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions and some closely contested matches played across both divisions.

The Premier Division has got tighter at the top with Cheeky Milandos moving into joint top spot, as they secured a 1-0 win over Egg Fried Reus, with leaders Exeter Gently going down by a 4-3 scoreline against 3 Lions in an entertaining encounter.  Hardly Athletic sit in third place but are one of three teams on 10 points after this weeks matches, they secured a 3-1 win over Jack's Army, whilst Up The Tics moved up to fifth and above Misfits who they beat convincingly by a 3-0 scoreline.

Yerrr remain unbeaten in Division One but their lead has been reduced to a single point, as they were held to a goalless draw by Dixy Pigeons, whilst second placed Borussia Teeth won an entertaining game against Extra Special Ones by a 3-2 scoreline.  The Purples stay in third place as they edged past Rainbow Sparkles 2-1, whilst Sky Blues won by the same scoreline in their game against Muff Munchers.
