Sunday 22nd October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good opening night of the season in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played throughout the night.

In the Premier League, the match between Wanyamas In Pyjamas and Borussia Teeth ended in a thrilling 4-2 victory for Borussia Teeth. The BackStreet Moyes and FC POSITIVITY held each other to a 3-3 draw, while Jack's Army triumphed over THE ALLIES FC, with a 3-1 victory.

Division 1 kicked off with a goalless draw between Unipart United and Dixy Pigeons. The clash between Tekkerslovakia and Gylfis Young Boys ended in a 1-1 draw, and Misfits outclassed Sky Blue Army with a 4-2 victory.

In Division 2, Murder On Zidanes Floor produced an outstanding performance, thrashing Beduff Rangers 5-0. In a close encounter, Kroos Control FC lost 2-1 to Extra Special Ones, while Hardly Athletic routed Globo Gym Purple Cobras by 7-1.

Division 3 witnessed a clinical 2-0 victory by Kevos Kids over Tuffnells FC, while Lads On Toure dominated The Griddlers, winning 6-0. Ricky Spanish FC edged out Rainbow Sparkles with a narrow 2-1 win.

Lastly, in Division 4, NetSixAndChill secured a 2-1 victory against CTFC, and Do-little Fc triumphed over Set 8 with a 2-1 win.
