It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league overall this week. We were however disappointed to see two non-attendances. Expected Toulouse and DD Men will be spoken to accordingly and confirmed to return for the next round of fixtures on Sunday 2nd March.
In the Premier League, Norfolk N Chance dominated Hardly Athletic with a decisive 6-0 victory. However, THE ALLIES FC was the team everyone was talking about, clinching a win against NetSixAndChill with a 4-1 scoreline. Murder On Zidanes Floor also kept up the momentum with a remarkable 5-1 triumph over EEFC.
Down in Division 1, things were heating up with Challenged FC edging out Lads On Toure 2-1 in a fierce encounter. Gylfis Young Boys managed to secure a narrow victory against Blue Crown FC with a 3-2 finish, adding another exciting chapter to their ongoing rivalry.
Over in Division 2, a fiercely competitive match saw Ligmatip besting Conkers FC 5-4, while Misfits scraped past Rubbergently with a 2-1 result. whilst Tuffnells and Hinckley Athletic shared the spoils in a 3-3 thriller.
Division 3 saw Rainbow Sparkles losing to Salah-vation Army in a 2-0 showdown, while Extra Special Ones triumphed over Ricky Spanish FC 5-2, demonstrating their dominance in the division.
We wish all teams good luck going into game week 4 of the campaign with Nuneaton's premier providers of small sided football!
