Sunday 23rd June - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being Pukka Chronics due to holiday.

In the Premier League, Pain In Dias registered their first win by defeating Birdies Boys 2-1 in a nail-biting match. THE ALLIES FC shared points with Norfolk N Chance after a thrilling 2-2 draw. Murder On Zidanes Floor emerged as a clear leader with an impressive 3-0 win over Borussia Teeth.

Division 1 also saw some intense matches. AFC Windmilldons put up a stellar performance against Kingsmill 50-50, ending the game with a 4-0 victory. Misfits managed a clean sheet with a 2-0 win over Kevos Kids. Gylfis Young Boys scored a 3-1 victory over Beduff Rangers, proving their mettle on the field.

In Division 2, Expected Toulouse dominated Set 8 with a decisive 3-0 win. However, NetSixAndChill stunned everyone with a 5-0 triumph over Extra Special Ones, showcasing their potent attacking prowess.

Division 3 saw Blue Crown FC register a fantastic 5-1 victory over Remdog United while Kroos Control FC and Rubbergently had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Hardly Athletic emerged victorious with a 4-0 win against Imatch Fc.

In Division 4, Ricky Spanish FC registered a narrow 1-0 win against EEFC. Real Sosobad and Tuffnells FC were involved in an exciting contest, with the former winning by 2-1. Rainbow Sparkles also had a successful night, edging past Eric Bantona 1-0.
