Sunday 24th November - Nuneaton Round-Up

It was a superb evening's football in the Nuneaton Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some well competed matches played.  The only exception to this being Misfits who cancelled and return to action on Sunday 1st December.

In the Premier League division, Murder On Zidanes Floor made a clear statement of intent, utterly decimating AFC Windmilldons 16-0 in a match for the ages. On the other end, NetSixAndChill edged past Gylfis Young Boys in a tense 3-2 finish, and THE ALLIES FC secured a comfortable 4-1 victory over Norfolk N Chance.

Moving on to Division 1, the heat was turned up as Borussia Teeth took a commanding win over EEFC with a solid 6-1 scoreline. Hardly Athletic also made their prowess known, overcoming Conkers FC 6-1 in an equally dominating performance.

In Division 2, Extra Special Ones clinched a 3-1 victory over Blue Crown FC, while Expected Toulouse triumphed 4-2 against Hinckley Athletic FC. A fiercely contested match between Tuffnells FC and Ricky Spanish FC ended in a 2-2 draw, showcasing the evenly matched talent in this division.

The excitement continued in Division 3. Kroos Control narrowly defeated Britannia Draculas FC 3-2, while Eric Bantona outscored Rainbow Sparkles 6-3. In a tightly fought battle, Rubbergently edged past Salah-vation Army with a 2-1 win.
