Sunday 24th October - Nuneaton Academy Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Nuneaton Academy Sunday 6 a side league with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exception being 'Mike Oxard' who have now been removed from the league due to their failure to contact us.

We are pleased to welcome new team 3 Lions to the league this week. We wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Sunday 31st October.

Misfits remain top of the pile following their 5-0 walkover this week.  Exeter Gently moved into second and look handily placed following their 7-1 thrashing of Egg Fried Reus, whilst Hardly Athletic drop to third after being held to a 1-1 draw by Cheeky Milandos.  Up The Tics move up to fourth place as they were 3-1 winners against Jack's Army who hover above the relegation places.

In Division One Yerrr keep their place at the top of the pile as they recorded a third win out of four with a 6-0 thrashing of Rainbow Sparkles. The Purples move up to second in a condensed league table after they were 6-2 winners over Muff Munchers, whilst Borussia Teeth sit in third following a convincing 5-0 win against Dixy Pigeons.
